Island Venado hidden behind the mangroves it the ideal place for the eco traveler. It is great for backpackers who like to learn about all the different wildlife.
The Island lies in the Nicoya Gulf on Costa Rica's Pacific coast. It has become a developed community with businesses, health centers, a school and a cultural and art center.
