When did you start your website and why?

My website site was started in June of 2000. I started it to help buyer and sellers with their properties in Costa Rica.

Please give us a short summary of your website, business model, etc

My website is mainly focused on selling properties of all kind in Costa Rica. Properties include but not limited to land, homes, hotels, and businesses.

What has been the most difficult part of creating and running your website?

The most difficult part was keeping it updated which is no longer a problem.

What has been the easist part of operating your website?

The easiest part is handling all various requests from visitors.

What was your biggest mistake?

Underestimating the impact of the net.

Who maintains your website and why?

I have a company who maintains it because they know what they are doing.

Tell us how your business has benefitted from your website?

It has benefited greatly since almost all of my business comes from my website.

What are your views on ecommerce and the future of the internet?

Without the internet, I wouldn't have had the success I have had so far in my business.

What are your views on Search Engine Optimization (SEO)?

Most people who come to my website are from Search Engines so I appreciate them very much.

What are your views on Search Engines? Have they helped or hindered your website?

They have helped my site immensely.

What method has been most successful for promoting your website?

Search engine optimisation

What method has been least successful for promoting your website?

Nothing so far.

What would you like to see change with respect to the internet?

I like to see better search engines like Google.
