Please give us a short summary of your website?
Carate Lodging is a growing resource of information about the Carate area of the Osa Peninsula. There are reviews of the area, lodges and small resorts in the area. The goal is to provide great, first-hand knowledge of Carate.
What inspired you to launch your own website?
I wanted to give information on the Osa Peninsula from a travelers perspective. There are so many interesting places such as Carate which lies next the Parque Nacional de Corcovado that I couldn't resist beginning a project to give insight to this wonderful area.
When did you launch your first website, and what was it?
My first website was Strictly Rocky Mountain online magazine (www.strictlyrockymountain.com) in 2002.
How did you decide on a name for your website?
I like to provide a website with a name that matches the content.
What makes it different from other, similar offerings?
There are not many (if any) other websites that follow a true magazine format.
What is your eventual goal? (To sell it, keep it for income, secure a book or other mainstream media deal?)
I love the area. Carate Lodging is a website that I will be keeping.
If your site got really big, really quickly, would you be able to keep up with the demand?
Yes. I have planned for growth of http://www.caratelodging.com. It is a goal that it will become a "gateway" for people looking for information in this area.
