Located in the Central Nicoya Peninsula, the Guanacaste Province, the city of Nicoya is oftenly referred to as the political, cultural and financial capital of the peninsula.
Nicoya is also the first Spanish colonial city in the beautiful country of Costa Rica.
Nicoya is also said to be the oldest town in the country, that is why the oldest artistically made church of almost 500 years old in the middle of the town is a true blue attraction.
