This website, Casa Claro de Luna dot com used to be the website for what might have been the best bed and breakfast in Costa Rica. In English the name would mean, Clear of the Moon... a place you could go to simply relax. The demise the bed and breakfast is a story that will be told at different time. We hope this website to become what made Casa Claro de Luna a special place for guests visiting Costa Rica. Unlike hotels, a bed and breakfast can offer a special social environment for its guests. What happens at a hotel? Usually the guests stay in their rooms and watch tv or sleep. Outside the rooms, they sneak around hoping not to see another guest much less speak with them. If the hotel has a restaurant, all the guests sit at separate tables and at the very most say hello or excuse me if they accidentally bump one another. A bed and breakfast if designed with one large table for breakfast and turn that boring hotel stay into a delightful experience. All the guests are living a dream. Some are just starting it, some are just finishing. All have stories, hopes and experiences to share. That large breakfast table opens the social barriers and everyone has a great time together. New friendships are forged. Possibly by allowing guest bloggers here, this website can become that social exchange for all of those visiting or returning from a Costa Rica vacation.
