I recently rented a home in San Jose during my stay in Costa Rica. This was the first time that I rented a piece of property during my travels and it was wonderful. I must admit that I did miss some of the amenities that most hotels/resorts offer. Although I was able to find my rental at www.buysafecostarica.com I wish I would have seen his article first. It sounds like this property is more up my alley.

I've always found that bed and breakfasts are more comfortable than hotels... and you get to meet lots of interesting guests... everyone at bed and breakfasts talk. At hotels they hide in their rooms afraid of their shadows.
